This was an instillation piece, with the purpose to expose a snippet of the story of Alice in wonderland.
6 scenes in total were displayed on the instillation:
1. Alice falling down the rabbit hole
2. The tea party with the Mad Hatter, Door mouse, March Hare and Alice
3. The white Rabbit frantically hopping around checking his watch
4. Alice growing and shrinking when swallowing the food and drink labelled 'eat me/ drink me'
5. The Queen of hearts commanding her soldiers with 'Off with his head!'
6. Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee dancing around together
It has the potential to be expanded into a larger, more performative piece, where the whole story could be projected, and the cards could create a solid structure with the ability to have audiences walking through it.
↓
Imagine 'Punchdrunk's style of immersive work, but digital, and on a structure, rather than across buildings, so you would have to follow characters around, or miss scenes because of watching other scenes on the other side of the cards.

Projected on a house of cards structure like this (cards stuck together for stability)→→→→

Rabbit Mapping
Trial 1:
Separate shapes created a less precisely mapped image, as they had to be moved individually back together to form the original image.
Trail 2:
When all shapes were created within a composite folder, they kept their positions among each other and therefore moved altogether. This meant that when it was mapped onto the playing card cut to the same shape, it fit perfectly, and only had to be enlarged or shrunk instead of having to move each individual shape all over again.
Maybe... (optimistic)
